DR. CHELSEA LYNCH, PT, DPT

Orthopedic and Pelvic Physical Therapist

Dr. Chelsea Lynch, PT, DPT is a physical therapist and pelvic rehabilitation specialist. She went to physical therapy school because she knew she wanted to help people who were suffering from bowel, bladder, and sexual issues. After graduating in 2011 with her doctorate from Northern Arizona University, she moved to Grass Valley and began practicing. She works with men and women of all ages on orthopedic and pelvic conditions, including incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain. She has extensive training in Pilates-based physical therapy. Chelsea mentors her physical therapists in pelvic rehabilitation and now has four pelvic physical therapists on staff. She is passionate about health and aims to improve each patient’s quality of life through education, exercise, and manual therapy. Using evidence-based treatment, Chelsea helps her patients live happier, more independent, and empowered lives.

DR. TORI WILLIAMS, PT, DPT

Orthopedic Physical Therapist

Dr. Tori Williams, PT, DPT grew up in Chico and graduated from CSU, Chico with her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology. She then went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University and has worked in the outpatient setting with a special interest in orthopedics, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Tori is passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based patient care through one-on-one treatment sessions and takes pride in helping people reach their individual goals and improve their overall health and well-being. She played sports from a young age and has experienced her own fair share of aches, pains, and injuries which has enhanced her ability to connect with her patients. When she isn’t working, you can find her spending time with her fiancé, walking her two small dogs, enjoying a glass of wine, cheering on the San Francisco Giants, lifting weights, hiking, or participating in other various recreational sports.

DR. SARAH ROBERTS, PT, DPT, CSCS

Orthopedic and Pelvic Physical Therapist

Sarah is a northern California local who studied Exercise Physiology at CSU Chico then went on to graduate from the CSU Sacramento Physical Therapy program. She proudly works with a wide range of patient needs no matter the complexity: orthopedic conditions, pre/post-operative, neurologic diagnoses, bowel and bladder incontinence, pelvic prolapse, pelvic pain, prostatectomy, and other pelvic dysfunction. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) which has prepared her to optimize strength and formwork at both expert and novice levels. She believes knowledge is power and provides thorough education to explain the "why" and "how" behind the treatment. She loves what she does and wants to make a lasting impression on the patients she treats.

LORI SAMS, PT, MPT

Orthopedic Physical Therapist
Pilates Rehabilitation Specialist

Lori is an outstanding physical therapist with over 20 years of experience working with patients of all ages. She played volleyball in college and graduated with her Master's from Southwest Baptist University in Missouri. She is a certified Pilates instructor and especially enjoys working with athletes, folks with balance and vestibular issues, and active seniors. She is a Grass Valley native and loves spending time with her husband and two sporty daughters.

LISA ALLINGTON, PT, MPT

Pelvic Physical Therapist

Lisa has more than 25 years of experience working with people of all ages, from infants to seniors. She has additional background in hospital-based acute care physical therapy and neurologic rehabilitation with expertise treating people experiencing all types of brain injury and trauma. She is passionate about helping people reach their goals to improve their quality of life, movement, and overall health. Lisa aims to provide high-quality education, exercise, and evidence–based treatments, partnering with her patients to discover what contributes most toward their wellbeing.  Away from the clinic she can be found outdoors hiking or cycling with friends, skiing with her husband and sons, reading a good book, or enjoying a long soak in the hot tub.

DR. SCARLETT HELBOCK

Orthopedic and Pelvic Physical Therapist
 

Dr. Scarlett Helbock, PT, DPT, is an orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapist who graduated from UC Davis with her Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences. She then went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from CSU Sacramento, where she graduated with honors and presented at multiple conferences. She loves treating a wide variety of patients with orthopedic conditions, pelvic health
conditions, TMJ dysfunction, and neurological disorders.

Scarlett grew up playing competitive soccer, where she first discovered physical therapy after several injuries. She knew the profession perfectly fit her because it combined her love of exercise and movement science. She then discovered pelvic physical
therapy and her passion for providing compassionate healthcare to patients with pelvic health conditions after watching her mom regain function after experiencing endometriosis and pelvic organ prolapse.

Scarlett loves collaborating with her patients to ensure they reach their specific goals by using their values, her clinical expertise, and the latest research to provide the best possible care. Outside
work, she likes to spend her time bouldering, lifting weights, reading, finding a new hiking trail, and discovering new coffee shops.

LAUREN HUBBARD, PT, DPT, CFMT

Orthopedic and Pelvic Physical Therapist

Lauren grew up in Reno, NV, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the

University of Nevada, Reno. She completed her Doctorate in
Physical Therapy from the University of California,

San Francisco/San Francisco State University and went on to a

post-graduate training program in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular
Facilitation (PNF) at an acute rehabilitation facility.

Lauren then became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist through the Institute of Physical Art, earning it with Distinction, which is the highest level of achievement for this certification.

Lauren has continued to broaden her knowledge and understanding of the human form, including extensive work in pelvic floor physical therapy. She uses her experience in treating a variety of orthopedic, pelvic, and neurological conditions to provide a comprehensive treatment approach to fully address her patient’s needs.

Lauren likes to stay active by running, hiking, and doing yoga in her free time. She has run several marathons and half marathons

and is in the process of completing all the World Marathon Majors.

Dr. Peter Lynch, PT, DPT is the man behind the scenes who gets things done! He verifies benefits, manages referrals, and does medical billing as well as general maintenance, cleaning, and childcare. When he isn't working on all things Ponderosa Physical Therapy, you can find him prospecting at the river.

PRICING

  • Cash-pay or out-of-network services: Physical therapy services provided by Ponderosa PT are covered by your out-of-network physical therapy benefits. We will provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurer at your request.

    • Initial Evaluation: $150​

    • Follow-up Appointment: $120

  • In-network services: Ponderosa PT is contracted with most major insurance companies. Please call to verify that Ponderosa PT is credentialed with your insurance company and have your MD fax a referral to 530-777-5607.
