Dr. Chelsea Lynch, PT, DPT, NCPT is a physical therapist and pelvic rehabilitation specialist. She went to physical therapy school because she knew she wanted to help people who were suffering from bowel, bladder, and sexual issues. After graduating in 2011 with her doctorate from Northern Arizona University, she moved to Grass Valley and began practicing. She works with men and women of all ages on orthopedic and pelvic conditions, including incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain. She has extensive training in Pilates-based physical therapy and is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher. She is passionate about health and aims to improve each patient’s quality of life through education, exercise, and manual therapy. Using evidence-based treatment, Chelsea helps her patients live happier, more independent, and empowered lives.
DR. SEAN RYAN, PT, DPT
Orthopedic Physical Therapist
Dr. Sean Ryan, PT, DPT practices orthopedic physical therapy with a focus on pain conditions. He has developed a unique sense of empathy for his patients due to overcoming years of chronic back pain and a series of large injuries in his early twenties. Sean brings a unique perspective to the field of physical therapy having had a previous career in organic farming and farm education. His knowledge of biology, systems-interactions, and passion for psychologically informed practice, create a healing environment that allows patients to be seen in their full capacity. His goal is to help patients understand how to integrate all the layers of their experience into overcoming pain conditions and living fuller lives. Sean has a strong desire for individual patient outcomes as well as for helping move the entire healthcare system toward one that creates true health resiliency.
DR. MELANIE CONLEY, PT, DPT
Orthopedic and Pelvic Physical Therapist
Dr. Melanie Conley, PT, DPT entered the field of Physical Therapy because of her fascination with the human body and brain, and all the incredible interactions of the mind, body and its environment. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in Psychology and went on to earn her in Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University, in Denver, CO in 2014. Melanie enjoys utilizing a combination of manual techniques to decrease pain, corrective exercises to increase strength and mobility, and detailed patient education. Melanie helps pelvic health and orthopedic patients regain control of their life, mitigate pain, and get back to confidently participating in activities that bring them joy.

Geriatric Physical Therapist
Dr. Peter Lynch, PT, DPT is the man behind the scenes who gets things done! He verifies benefits, manages referrals, and does medical billing as well as general maintenance, cleaning, and childcare. When he isn't working on all things Ponderosa Physical Therapy, you can find him prospecting at the river.

During the pandemic, Ponderosa PT will remain open. The entire staff has been vaccinated. All CDC, state, and local public health guidelines will be followed. Telehealth services are available. Patients with in-person visits will be screened thoroughly and are required to wear masks and hand sanitize. Your health is our greatest priority and we look forward to serving you.

Cash-pay or out-of-network services: Physical therapy services provided by Ponderosa PT are covered by your out-of-network physical therapy benefits. We will provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurer at your request.
Initial Evaluation: $150
Follow-up Appointment: $120
In-network services: Ponderosa PT is contracted with most major insurance companies. Please call to verify that Ponderosa PT is credentialed with your insurance company and have your MD fax a referral to 530-777-5607.
